Switching your hair routine from Summer to Fall can take several steps, according to professional hairstylist and Glamsquad Artistic Director, Giovanni Vaccaro. “When seasons change, your scalp is more prone to drying out,” he says. “Make sure you incorporate scalp treatments and hair treatments.” He suggests Living Proof’s Restore Dry Scalp Treatment before you shampoo, Glamsquad’s own Re-treat Hair Treatment (“a lighter but really moisturizing treatment”) and Briogeo’s Don’t Despair, Repair! Throw away anything with sulfates and use clean shampoos and conditioners instead. I am a big Fan of Honest Beauty’s shampoos.”
