Bieber has worn the Polish designer on many prior occasions, including a recent turn in a black leather blazer and oversized jeans. Butrym has become synonymous with her statement-making looks that give a subtle nod to the shapes of the 1980s and the sleek fabrics and colors of the 1990s. Emily Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk are also fans of her statement jackets and dresses that feature large shoulders and cinched waists.
Butrym launched her namesake label in 2014, showing her collections quietly in Paris at intimate presentations and slowly growing her influence in the industry. The former fashion stylist’s collection is now sold globally. “Quite early on, I got this feeling that there were all these amazing options for evening wear or special occasions, while the everyday wardrobe felt quite monotonous and flat,” Butrym told BAZAAR UK in 2018. “When I decided to make clothes, my first aim was to elevate this seemingly prosaic way of dressing and inject a little spirit into staple pieces. I wanted to make every Monday morning a special occasion.” Maybe we’re inspired to elevate our Mondays a little more too.
