Now up for grabs, here is an official look at the Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C. This latest collab between both brands has Maison’s numerical logo and trompe-l’oeil house code from the early 90s uniting with Reebok’s Club C tennis shoe – the ‘C’ short for ‘Champion’ – since 1985. The classic reebok sneaker receives the trompe-l’oeil treatment as it comes constructed from a single piece of flat leather, In addition, the upper is printed with a scanned image of Reebok’s original Club C shoe. The effect mimics every stitch, curve, and shadow of the original 3D surface, achieving a 2D optical illusion. Finishing features include the textile lining, and durable rubber outsole.
Retailing for $300, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C is now available directly from Reebok.com.
