About eight months ago, WhatsApp offered early access to multi-device support on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. However, as per the latest development, the multi-device support is now out of beta. This means that it is no longer in its testing mode and is headed for a stable release. The beta mode of the multi-device feature was for people to test the multi-device feature. It was an opt-in feature designed exclusively for users who wanted to experience the multi-device feature. They could opt for it anytime. But now WhatsApp has started rolling out the stable version of the feature, which means it is no longer an opt-in feature. The feature will now get activated for all users.
The multi-device feature lets users access four devices at the same time. In the beta mode, people could log into the desktop version of WhatsApp without requiring the primary phone with an active internet connection. WhatsApp had previously revealed that ever since it had rolled out the beta version of the multi-device feature, it had witnessed an increase in people accessing”the feature directly through the web browser.
