The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards might have taken on a new format amidst COVID-19 precautions, but that couldn’t stop the top artists in the industry from giving us knockout performances. From TikTok bops to chart-topping hits, there was no shortage of musical talent at the VMAs. And of course, social distancing wasn’t going to stop any of the performers from serving some major lewks as well.
Host Keke Palmer set the tone for the night with her stellar fashion choices, and that continued with stars like Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Chloe and Halle, and more who brought major fashion — face masks included — to the stage and socially distanced red carpet. Gaga walked the carpet in a metallic, intergalactic dress, while Sofia Carson brought some extreme elegance in a stunning red gown.
