Priyanka Chopra Jonas spends her days running from movie sets to stunt training to workouts and yet, she also launched a clean and sustainable haircare brand called Anomaly. Not to mention, she still finds the time to squeeze in date night with husband Nick Jonas. For this episode of How I Do, Chopra Jonas shows us how she gets her hair ready for the occasion, taking her hair from a messy bun to soft, voluminous waves in a matter of minutes.
Chopra Jonas’s haircare line Anomaly is all about blending sustainability with affordable luxury. The packaging of the bottles—like the Clarifying Shampoo and Volume Conditioner Chopra Jonas mentions in the video above—are all made with ultra-thin recycled plastic and aluminum. The clean, vegan formulas smell incredible, and result in the kind of glossy, gorgeous hair the actress is known for.
“My hair is thick, and I would say it has a mind of its own,” she says. Once she lets her hair down from a low, messy bun, her goal is to smooth out any kinks and boost the volume. For the latter, she turns to her Anomaly dry shampoo. After finding her ideal part (today it was a Gen Z-approved middle part), Chopra Jonas spritzes the dry shampoo at her roots to add a subtle lift.

To keep her ends looking glossy and healthy, she then works a dab of Oribe Moisturizing Cream through her midlength and ends. After twisting sections of hair to create a natural curl, she flips her head upside down for “va-va-voom hair.” With her face-framing curtain bangs, the end result is gorgeous and nearly effortless.
After a swipe of red lipstick, Chopra Jonas is ready for a date with her husband. “During quarantine, there’s not much you can do for date night,” she says. “But I still try and make an effort.”
