Back in November 2021, Nike revealed its upcoming Dunk High Retro SE “Grid Tongue,” and now the pair is ready for its general release.
Presented in a black and white color palette, this Dunk earns its name because, quite literally, the tongue has been given a grid-covered makeover. This appears alongside a white leather base that’s been overlayed with black patent leather, taking on the Swoosh motif and the heel section that wraps up the sides of the mid-panel, subsequently forming the top eyelets.
A perforated toe box appears as standard, as does Nike branding on the tongue, while a black liner decorates the collar and white laces adorn the tongue. Rounding out this simplistic yet well-styled iteration is the sole unit, also appearing in a white and black color scheme.
The Nike Dunk High Retro SE “Grid Tongue” retails for €119.95 EUR (approximately $135 USD) and will arrive at retailers such as 43einhalb on February 28.
