Kanye West celebrated the release of his new album Donda 2 last night with a performance experience in Miami, where he went ahead and sampled a portion of Kim Kardashian’s Saturday Night Live monologue from when she hosted back in October.
The sample came at the beginning of the track “Sci-Fi,” with Kim saying “I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.”
Here’s the moment from the monologue, on the very slim off-chance that you missed it:
If you want to hear “Sci-Fi” yourself, just FYI that Donda 2 is only available on Kanye’s Stem Player. In other words, don’t expect to stream it on Apple Music or Spotify.
“Donda 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player,” Kanye explained on Instagram. “Not on Apple Amazon Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own. Go to stemplayer.com now to order.” He added “You can download new music from stemplayer.com. You can play 4 different elements of the track: vocals, drums, bass and music. It also has a MP3 player available. We currently have 67,000 available and are making 3,000 a day.”
The Stem Player is $200, and you can grab one here.
