When an icon decides to dress up as another icon for Halloween, the result is obviously going to be iconic. And Jennifer Lopez just showed us how it’s done.
For this year’s socially distanced holiday, J.Lo decided to skip the gore and horror (haven’t we already had enough of that in 2020, anyways?), and instead dressed up as ’80s Madonna, wearing one of the superstar’s most memorable outfits of all time.
J.Lo wore the white, lacy “Like a Virgin” dress and Boy Toy belt Madonna originally wore to the VMAs in 1984. But, of course, the look wouldn’t be complete without Madonna’s signature ’80s perm — and you better believe J.Lo delivered.
On Nov. 1, Lopez posted not one, not two, but three photos of her costume to Instagram, including a few close up shots of her hair for the night.
“Didn’t know how lost I was until I found you … @arod #HappyHalloween,” she captioned the photo, using a line from “Like a Virgin,” while also showing love to fiancé Alex Rodriquez.
