Nike has unveiled a brand new take on the Air Max 90. This time around, the American footwear giant has imagined soft gray fabrics for its uppers, offering a textured look that’s finished with neoprene, leather and suede.
The shoe comes with a sleek black tongue, complemented by tonal laces that cover the forefoot. Bold “Infrared”-colored rubber panels appear along the front eyelets, heel counter, sidewalls, midsole and outsole, complemented by full-grain leather at the quarters.
One distinctive detail is the shoe’s rubber heel patch, which often comes with “Nike” branding. This panel has been left blank, along with the small sidewall patch. Resting below the shoe’s suede mudguards is a crisp white midsole that smoothly tapers off towards the front.
