Adding to the anticipation, we now have an official look at the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sesame.” One of four colorways set to release, the latest look is a new take on Chitose Abe‘s lauded hybrid sneaker style.
The “Sesame” colorway of the conceptual double-stacked design that combines elements of the Nike Vaporfly with the classic Pegasus from 1983 features a light brown leather base. Accenting details come in the form of blue midfoot Swooshes, darker brown suede and leather overlays, dual tongues and intertwined laces. Branding comes in the form of printed white Swooshes, tongue tags, “NIKE/sacai” printed heel tabs, mini Swoosh marked heel loops and printed insoles. Elevating the shoe is a layered midsole unit marked by an aggressive lip at the heel paired with a contrasting black rubber waffle outsole.
Priced at $180 USD, the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sesame” is set to release sometime this spring.
