Hey, they’re listeners. It’s Brett Molina. Welcome back to Talking Tech. I don’t know about you, but I have found myself increasingly using more of these voice assistants, whether it’s Siri, Google Assistant, or Alexa, I’m going to try to avoid saying their names because I know a lot of you probably have smart speakers and other devices. And if you’re a listener of this podcast, you know very well that I have tried hard to avoid saying their names for fear that I’m going to trigger them. And then they’re going to just start blaring in your house. So consider that my one time. But they’re great because you can get a lot of useful tips, tricks, information, whether you’re on a smart speaker, your phone, whatever it is. My colleague Kim Komando writes about this in a story that you can read on tech.usatoday.com.
She talks about genius commands that every iPhone and Android user should know to get the most out of their voice assistant. We’ll talk about two of them here. Let’s start with the flashlight. I honestly have always just hit the button on the flashlight. So I never think twice about it, but you can also use your voice assistant.
